Here at Roundhouse, we really dig being part of the bigger MacEwan University community. Being located on campus means we constantly have the opportunity to collaborate students, staff and faculty.
We’ve been fortunate to have several students become more immersed in the Roundhouse community, by volunteering as welcome desk hosts. Our volunteer hosts help us create extraordinary member and guest experiences, in exchange for a hot desk membership! But that’s not the only way to get involved in our community. Thanks to our friends at the Students’ Association of MacEwan University (SAMU), students can now access membership grants! The MacEwan University Social Innovation Institute has worked hard with SAMU to be able to provide three-month community memberships free of charge for MacEwan students!
Community membership at Roundhouse gets you access to common areas to work or study, free coffee (that’s right, free!), member support programs, tech library rentals and community events. Here’s how to join:
Apply on roundhouse.net and indicate that you want the SAMU Community Membership ($120 value)
You’ll be sent an application for the grant to cover the cost; complete and submit it as soon as you can (so you can start your membership ASAP).
If accepted, you’ll attend a member orientation and unlock access to all the great membership benefits.
You don’t need to be an entrepreneur to be a community member at Roundhouse. We welcome anyone who cares about making the world better, fairer and greener or has a desire to be part of a community of changemakers.
